Ballinascreen CCÉ will be holding their annual Steak’n'Chicken BBQ & Session Night on Friday 17th July at An Scioból (at the rear of The Market Inn). Everything kicks off at 8pm sharp. Children in Crossfire are in the process of recruiting 30 enthusiastic people to take part in their fundraising Cycle Vietnam project in April 2010. A fundraising Garden Party will take place at the Rural College on Saturday 4th July at 8pm. Refreshments will be served. Admission is £3 for adults and children are free. All proceeds will go towards Charis Integrated Cancer Care. Everyone welcome.

A group of ten students who are visiting Poland in December are fundraising for their trip by participating in a scheme to recycle old mobile phone handsets. If you have any old mobile phones (regardless of condition) sitting at home, gathering dust, then why not dispose of them via this scheme by leaving them in St Colm’s High School on or before Thursday 25th June.

The Cornstore Youth Club ‘Summer Scheme’ will run daily from Wednesday 1st July until Tuesday 21st July from 10am - 2pm. It is open to all children from P4 - Year 10. Cost per child is £15 and further information can be obtained by contacting Miss Magee at St Colm’s High School on (028) 79628377.
