» Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

Well folks, its that time of year again. We’ve just finished putting up the tinsel, decorating the Christmas tree, and we’re just about to slump into the sofa in front of a lovely cosy fire – but, just before we do, we’d like to wish all our visitors a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! from everyone (…er.. that’ll be me then! – Ed) ballinascreen.com.

The Cellar Bar plays host to the Battle of the Bands competition where there are plenty of prizes up for grabs, including:

  • Christmas Night Entertainment – Music by Dreams
  • Annual Charity Hurling game on Boxing Day at 2pm. Senior, reserve, and retired hurlers are invited to attend.
  • Under-Age Presentations will be held on Friday 29th December. All underage players (football, camogie, hurling, ladies football) are very welcome. Under 8, 10, and 12 presentation will commence at 4pm. Under 14, 16, and Minor presentations will commence at 7pm, followed by a disco. Special guests will be in attendance.

The committee for the South Derry Branch of the Down’s Syndrome Association wish to thank all those who supported their recent fundraising event held in Mulligans Bar. The total amount raised was an impressive £5,000. Well done!
