St Eoghan’s Primary School will be holding a Carol Service on Monday 17th December in St Eugene’s Church at 7.30pm. There will also be a special collecion for St Vincent de Paul. Everyone is welcome.

Pupils from St Columba’s Primary School (Straw) will be singing A Christmas Carol on BBC Radio Ulster’s Good Morning Ulster show on Thursday 20th December at 8.55am. St Columba’s will also be hosting a Christmas Concert on Monday 17th December in the GAA Complex at 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome.

The Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion Service will be holding Blood Donation Sessions in St Colm’s High School on Monday 31st December from 10am – 3.30pm. Everyone is encouraged to attend this vital community service – who knows, you might need it some day…

St Colm’s Boxing Club will be closed from Friday 14th December and will re-open in January 2008 if there is sufficient local interest.

will be holding their Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 12th December at 8pm in the Rural College. The annual report for the last year will be presented, followed by supper.

The local PTAA December Dance will be held on Friday 14th December in St. Mary’s Primary School, with entertainment supplied by Jericho. Dancing from 9.30pm until 12.30am. Supper served. Everyone is welcome.
