» St Colm’s High School ‘Buy a Brick’ Campaign

Work is nearing completion on the fantastic new Sports Hall, adjacent to St Colm’s High School. The sports hall will be used primarily by St Colm’s High School during the day, with facilities also being shared amongst the neighbouring primary schools of Altayeskey, Cullion, Draperstown, Knocknagin, Dromore, Kilross, Moneyneena and Straw.

Members of the local community will also be able to make use of the facilities and activities on offer during evenings and weekends when trained staff will be available to provide coaching and development support. Badminton, Bowling, Boxing, GAA and soccer are just a small sample.

Of course, the development project wouldn’t have gotten off the ground at all without the financial backing of several charitable organisations, as well as the support of local businesses and Workspace which seeks to stimulate social and economic regeneration in the area. The total development costs (including equipment) is
