Congratulations are extended to the pupils, parents and staff of St Mary’s Primary School who, instead of giving Christmas presents to one another, used the money to purchase 64 goats to be dontated to needy villagers in various African regions. A total of £2,304 was sent to Trócaire.

The local PTAA December Dance will be held on Friday 12th December in St. Mary’s Primary School, with entertainment supplied by Jericho. Dancing from 9pm until midnight. Supper served. Everyone is welcome.

The Ballinascreen Credit Union will be hosting its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 9th December at 8pm in the Rural College. The annual report for the past year will be presented followed by supper.
