» St Colm’s Sports Hall News

From today, Monday 21st January the new Sports Hall will be available for public use in the evenings and weekends, staffed on a part-time basis. The hall can be booked on an hourly basis between 5pm-10pm weekdays and between 10am-6pm on Saturdays by contacting Workspace on (0)28 79628113 or by emailing info@workspace.org.uk. Sunday slots may also be available depending on demand. Priority will be given to local sports organisations and community groups. This arrangement will be reviewed during February when it is hoped that a full time member of staff will be in place.

» St Mary’s Grammar School Open Night

An Open Night for all prospective 1st year students will take place in St Mary’s Grammar School on Thursday 24th January. Invitations will be sent to Primary 7 children and parents are asked to note the time reserved for their particular primary school.

A Charity Concert in aid of Children in Crossfire will take place on Wednesday 30th January in the Greenvale Hotel, Cookstown. Doors open at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10

» Notice to Parents of children starting school in 2008

Parents of children who have reached compulsory school age (i.e. born on or between 2nd July 2003 and 1st July 2004 and are due to start school in September 2008 must complete an application form which is now available from their local school. The completed form must be returned before Wednesday 23rd January to the Principal of your first preference school, accompanied by the childs birth certificate.
