The Sixtowns Community Group will be holding their Annual General Meeting in the Sixtowns Community Centre on Monday 3rd March at 8.30pm. Everyone is welcome.

In conjunction with the St Vincent de Paul Society, those interested in enrolling for English Language classes are invited to attend a meeting in St Colm’s High School on Thursday 21st February at 8pm.

After a small delay, the Ballinascreen Historical Society have released a new publication, Schools of Ballinascreen, which is based on a series of articles of the same name originally published in the Ballinascreen Parish Bulletin by the late Fr Leo Deery PP. Ryan and Marie are up to their fundraising antics, once again in aid of Children in Crossfire. The latest installment takes place on Saturday 23rd February in the Cellar Bar. To keep things interesting, this time around its a themed School Disco night – fancy dress is optional and this isn’t an open invitation for real schoolchildren to suddenly appear at the bar and order 20 shandies Music will be supplied by the G-Team. So get your skool kit on or its detention for the lot of ‘ya!
