A number of special Parish Action Seminars have been organised to discuss the issues surrounding Alcohol & Drugs, which have become an increasing problem in recent times.
There will be 3 separate seminars held in St Colm’s High School:
- Seminar 1: Monday 31st March – 8pm – For all parents in the community.
- Seminar 2: Wednesday 2nd April – 8pm – For coaches and adult players of local sports clubs/associations.
- Seminar 3: Monday 7th April – 8pm – For all 16-18 year olds in the community.
These seminars are a partnership event between Teenagers Involved in Protecting Selves around Alcohol (TIPSA) and Priests of the Parish, Draperstown Surgery, St Colm’s GAC, Sperrin Bowling Club, Draperstown Celtic Football Club, St Colm’s Boxing Club, Holy Family Sisters and Associates, and all Post Primary Institutions.
