Little Wombles Playgroup re-opens on Monday 1st September at 9.00am

The Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion Service will be holding Blood Donation Sessions in St Colm’s High School on Friday 5th September from 2.30pm – 4.15pm and 5.30pm – 8.00pm so for those of you who are busy at work during the day, this is your opportunity to donate during the evening session. Everyone is encouraged to attend this vital community service – who knows, you might need it some day…

Congratulations to the staff and pupils of St Colm’s High School on their recent success at A2, AS and GCSE-level examinations. At A2-level 95% of pupils achieved grades A-C, at AS-level 96% of pupils achieved grades A-C.

No sooner are the results from the previous year out than the new school year is upon us. Pupils are due to return to school on the following dates:

• Friday 29th August – Year 13
• Monday 1st September – Years 8, 9 and 10.
• Tuesday 2nd September – Years 9, 11 and 14.
• Wednesday 3rd September – All Years
