There will be no door-to-door collection for Action Cancer this year. Instead, anyone wishing to make a donation to Action Cancer may do so at the Action Cancer shop from 11am – 2pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Fridays. All donations gratefully received.

Draperstown Celtic FC will be celebrating their 40th Anniversary with a dinner in the Shepherds Rest on Saturday 25th October. Further details and tickets for the event are available from committee members.

Adult Dancing Classes resume in An Ráth Dubh on Wednesday 8th October from 8.30pm – 10pm

• As part of the 50th celebrations, Mass will be celebrated in the school on Wednesday 8th October at 11am. Education Minister Catriona Ruane will be in attendance. Pupils, parents, friends and Board of Governers are invited. Refreshments will be served after the mass.

The Sixtowns Cross Community Group will be holding a meeting on Tuesday 7th October at 8.30pm. All committee members are asked to attend.

Flu Vaccine Clinics are to be held in Draperstown Surgery on Saturday 11th October from 9am – 12.30pm. No appointment is necessary for attending this session. It is also possible to receive the Flu Vaccine at the clinic Monday – Friday during normal opening hours – although in this case it is necessary to make an appointment as normal. As with previous clinics, it is vitally important for those aged 65 and over, and those who have any medical condition to receive the flu vaccine as we enter the winter months.
