Glasgowbury HQ have been in touch to let us know that a G Session will take place in the Cellar Bar on Saturday 29th November. First up are a band who have already made their mark on the main festival and G Sessions – they are the Beatpoets. To cap the night off are a band who have made a previous appearance at the festival in 2006, just after supporting Bon Jovi (you may have heard of them) on stage in Croke Park – they’ll now be able to add a G Session to their CV, so give it up for Jaded Sun.

Doors open at 9pm and admission is five of your shiniest credit-crunch gold coins.. Sure you couldn’t beat it!

A dance will be held in Sixtowns Community Centre on Wednesday 3rd December from 9.30pm – 12am. Music by Lakelanders. Refreshments will be served and everyone is welcome.

Traditional Session in the Market Inn (Regans) on Friday 21st November at 9.30pm. There will also be Singing Sessions on Saturday 22nd November at 9pm. Everyone is welcome.

The Ballinascreen Mother & Toddlers Group now meets every Tuesday from 9.30am – 11.30am at St Colm’s GAA Club. Everyone is welcome.

• Adult Dancing Classes every Wednesday from 8.30pm – 10pm
• Sean Girvan School of Irish Dancing, for those aged 3+, classes every Friday from 4.30pm – 5.30pm

• Underage Hurling Training for P4, P5 and P6 pupils in the Backrow Recreation Centre every Friday starting on Friday 7th November from 7pm – 8pm. Each session will cost £1 per child.
