» Draperstown Community Survey Meeting

A public meeting will be held in the Back Row Recreation Centre on Monday 23rd March at 7.30pm, at which the results of the Community Survey that was carried out in December will be discussed. This meeting is an opportunity for residents of the local area to give their views on the findings. Everyone is welcome to attend.

As part of Seachtain Na Gaeilge 2009 the following local events have been organised:

  • Saturday 14th March – Walk to Craignashoke. Assemble at Moydamlaght Forest at 10am
  • Comortas Fuinneog (Window Competition) – Judging to take place on Monday 16th March.

GAA LogoManagers and coaches of all underage teams, up to and including minors, must complete a Child Protection Form. Forms are available from Ballinascreen Credit Union or from the Club Secretary, Anne Cleary. Completed forms must be returned by Friday 13th March. A reminder that failure to complete these forms means that the individual would be unable to work, in any capacity, with an underage team.

» Action Cancer Shop – Request for Donations

Action Cancer LogoThe local Action Cancer shop in Draperstown would welcome the donation of clothes (men’s, women’s, children’s), bedding, shoes, books and bric-a-brac. These items can be left at the shop on St Patricks Street during normal opening hours: Tuesdays/Fridays 11am – 2pm and Wednesdays 10am – 2pm.

» Timber for Sale at St Eugene’s Moneyneena

The timber located at St Eugene’s, Moneyneena, is now available for purchase. Sealed offers should be left at the Parish Office no later than Monday 16th March. In order to leave the grounds around the Church and Parochial House the timber must be removed not later than Thursday 30th April.
