The local Action Cancer branch would like to thank all customers for their continued support. Throughout the last year the local Action Cancer shop has helped to raise £10,000 through donations of clothing and bric-a-brac items. Further donations are very welcome. Opening Hours for the Action Cancer shop are:

• Tuesday: 11am – 2pm
• Wednesday: 10am – 1.30pm
• Friday: 11am – 2pm

A Dance will take place at Sixtowns Community Centre on Wednesday 24th February from 10pm until late. Music is provided by Lakelanders. Admission is £5 and a light supper will be served. Proceeds in aid of Lough Derg. Everyone welcome.

• Club Registration night will take place on Sunday 21st February. Adult Membership costs £20, whilst Youth Membership costs £5.

Naíscoil Na Speiríní will be celebrating their 10th anniversary with ‘An Evening of Irish Culture‘ which takes place in An Ráth Dubh on Saturday 20th February from 8pm onwards. Admission is £5.

• Set Dancing in An Ráth Dubh on Sunday 28th February from 4pm – 7pm. Music by Copperplate.

Ballinascreen Mothers & Toddlers Group re-opens in the Plantation Centre on Thursday 11th February from 9.30am – 12 noon. Everyone welcome.
